All these organisations, together with the national police force, have signed a protocol to formalise their co-operation in setting up a Steering Committee, which will guide, promote and implement mainstreaming.
In particular, the Steering Committee is committed to co-operation in order to ensure the successful outcome of the project, and it undertakes to:

- Ensure combined and consistent actions, in cooperation with the national police force;
- Approve the methodologies adopted so as to make them easily transferable;
- Contribute to the assessment and self-assessment of project activities;
- Implement assistance policies by cooperating to improve regulations and procedures currently in force;
- Cooperate to identify new resources that might help carry out the activities of the Life project;
- Provide all the information, knowledge, and useful skills required to achieve the project’s objectives;
- Publish the best practices tested and the results achieved;
- Arrange discussions with those other project groups at the national and transnational level that intended to foster the integration of “weak” women into the jobs market;
- Create relationships to ensure targeted communication with other projects that have similar objectives to those of Life;
- Put online and into action initiatives to improve the cultural, social and economic context, in order to reduce the phenomenon of trafficking and forced prostitution;
